Fifteen years ago, I started dreaming with my eyes wide open.
Europe—long, warm months. Sunny days. Laying on sun-bleached rocks, salt in my hair, that electric blue water all around me.
I could feel it before it was real—the stillness in my chest, the quiet in my mind, the kind of gratitude that hums through your bones.

This July, it happens. Three months in Europe.
And this piece is how I picture it:
calm
sun-soaked
softly buzzing with joy.

I almost didn’t book it.
After all these years of working toward it, I got scared.
What comes after the dream?

Then I said—
Go anyway.
