Those little coves dotted along the coastline of Puglia felt unlike anywhere we’d
experienced before. Coming from sandy beaches back home to stretching out on
deep brown textured rocks felt like stepping into a completely different world. The
ocean shifted through layers of blue, impossibly clear, adding something extra to an
already beautiful place. It looked romantic and still from afar, long days in the sun,
warm, quiet, visually stunning. The reality with children was different, of course, but it
was fun in its own way. Cliff jumps into crisp, cool water, hearts racing, laughter
echoing, and moments where you pause, take it all in, and realise this is my life
today. And it was a good day.
