Our time spent in a trulli in Monopoli, Italy were some of our best days. It sat
perfectly in between two very different worlds, coming from the energy of Paris to the warmth of Puglia’s coastline. Tucked away among olive trees, this little stay feltcompletely removed, surrounded by some of the most beautiful trulli you’ll ever see. The days here were about slowing right down. Sinking our feet into the grass,
gathering around a big table for long dinners, and allowing ourselves to simply stop.
There was nowhere to be, no expectations, no lists of places to visit. Just us, our
friends, and a deep dose of nature. The sage green of the olive trees against the
creamy tones of the trulli was breathtaking, and the bright blue skies above us were
endlessly beautiful. We still look back on those days as some of our all-time
favourites. So grounding. So special.
