Travelling on your own is one experience, but travelling with family and friends is
something else entirely. Stepping into a new country and culture already asks so
much of you, and doing it together creates a different kind of grounding. We filmed
while we were away with friends, and it became one of the most meaningful parts of
the trip. Being surrounded by people who think in similar ways, who can validate and
hold space for how each moment feels, is something truly special. Exploring new
cities and beachside towns together felt like a gift, as did offering each other grace
through the different emotions and anxieties that come with travel. I’m deeply
grateful for the chance to move through the world with my family and create
alongside friends in a way that lit me up. We often laughed because whenever we
came together to film, explore, or simply be, our outfits always seemed to align. Soft
creams, rich browns, warm tans, and easy taupes. A beautiful combination of people
and colour.
